Barbara "Barb" N. Levine (Ehrlich), 76, passed away on September 1, 2022, in Vero Beach, Florida, due to complications from Covid-19.
Barbara was born on November 22, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Sally and Manny Ehrlich. In 1979, she married her loving husband and best friend, Marc Levine. She was a dedicated PE teacher and coach at Pine Crest Prep School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for 30 years and enjoyed each and every day until her retirement. Barb also gave back as a volunteer with several different organizations over the years, including Save the Chimps, the local food bank, the Stork Club at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital where she adored working with newborns, and several years as an election worker. She was a kind and loving woman with an infectious smile and was loved by all who knew her. Throughout her life she greatly enjoyed many hobbies such as crocheting, karate, motorcycle riding, bowling, word games, and gardening.
Barb will be greatly missed by her surviving family, including her husband, Marc Levine of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Denise Rodriguez of Seattle, WA, and Rebecca Rodriguez of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Nate and Savannah; sister, Diane North; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as her beloved dog, Apollo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sally and Manny Ehrlich, and her brother, Joel Ehrlich.
