Dansville - Barbara Ann "Barb" Maloney age 88, passed late Tuesday evening October 4, 2022, at The Vincent House in Wayland.
She was born in Dansville on January 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Ellen Irene Maloney.
Barb was a Communicant of Holy Family Catholic Community at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. She was a former buyer at Foster Wheeler Energy Corp. in Dansville, prior to this she was employed at FA Owen Publishing. In her free time she volunteered with the Coffee Cart at Noyes Memorial Hospital and was an avid bowler. She was a big fan of the NY Yankees and the St. Bonaventure Basketball team.
She is survived by her dear friend of many years Billie Adams, cousins, Maren (Nick) Young and Daniel Maloney, her Godchildren Amy Welch and Steve Morgan, as well as several other cousins and friends.
Friends may call Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville, where a Rosary service will be recited at 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on TUESDAY at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church in Dansville. Interment will be next to her mother and grandmother in Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.
