Barbara Louise Marble, age 96, of Alma, Michigan passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her home.

Barb was born March 5, 1929, in Clare, Michigan, the daughter of Fredrick and Marie (Bogan) Schug. She attended school in Clare, graduating as valedictorian with the Clare High School class of 1947. Barb married Robert Marble on October 7, 1950. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Alma and active in the community for over 50 years.

Barb is survived by her husband Robert, four children, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren - with another on the way.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am on September 6, 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church of Alma, 495 Charles Avenue, Alma, Michigan. Following the service, there will be a gathering and luncheon in the church's Fellowship Hall until 2:00pm. Interment will be in Pennington Memorial Gardens Cemetery at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Alma, noting that the donation should be earmarked for the Community Café and the Food Pantry, where Barb and Bob volunteered for many years.
