Barbara Jean McBroom, 71, passed away peacefully at home on September 30th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 26th, 1954, in Vandalia, Illinois, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Robert and Rachel Love. Barbara lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the first 53 years of her life and then moved to Boise, Idaho, where she has lived for 18 years. After graduating from West Mesa High School in Albuquerque, NM, Barbara worked for the Mountain Bell phone company for 20 years, where she worked as an administrative assistant. She received her real estate license in 1996 and sold residential and multi-family real estate for several years.

In 1992, she married her beloved husband of over 33 years, Bill McBroom, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter and a passion for serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two daughters Heather and Sarah Johnson and two stepsons, Bryan and Justin McBroom. Barbara found immense joy in her family and was known for her kindness, her warm smile, and her ability to make everyone feel loved.

Beyond her family and career, Barbara was an avid reader and attended Life Bible College in Meridian, Idaho. Barbara sought after Jesus with all her heart, mind, body and spirit. Barbara served as co-hub leader for the Idaho hub of The Supernatural Life Ministry with her husband, Bill. She discipled many Christians and trained multiple hub leaders that led to new hubs in Northern Idaho, Washington, Alaska, Iowa and Colorado. Most recently she was a devoted member of Center Point Church in Boise and served on the prayer team.

Barbara is survived by her husband Bill McBroom, her children Bryan McBroom (Christina), Heather Johnson, and Sarah Genovese (Sam); her grandchildren, Nathan and Stacy and her 8 siblings Janet Tingen (Danny), Joyce Sitton (Jim), Mary Riordan, twin sister Nancy Parks (Steve), Robert Love (Ramona), Judy O'Mara (Tim), Greg Love (Tila), and Sarah Love.

She is preceded by her parents, sister Patty Snyder (Bob), and her stepson Justin McBroom.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 18th, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Center Point Church located at 5823 Franklin Rd., Boise, ID 83705. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the 700 Club-CBN Ministry, in which Barbara was a longtime supporter.
