Her life was challenging raising 5 children, selling Avon and being a housewife for 25 years. Retired as an office manager for a General Surgeon. Barbara was very successful in all her responsibilities. She really enjoyed doing crafts and was very creative.
Barbara is survived by her 4 remaining children, Deborah Dishon, (Bob Ulrich), David (Anita), Carol (Bob) Mittenmeyer, Susan (Dave) Rushing, 4 grandchildren Renee, Ashley, Caitlin, and David, along with 2 great-grandchildren.
Cremation took place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Private inurnment will take place in Michigan Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Barbara's name to either the American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Association.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Debbie, the loss of a Mother is almost unbearable. It leaves a hole in the heart that now must be filled with all the great memories you shared together. The Heart is never ready, and the time is Never right to say Good-Bye. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories will help us cope, as well as our friends & family. I remember your Mother was so kind and thoughtful. My Mom loved her and spent many hours talking. My Mom also appreciated all the AVON products that she discussed with her as well as sold her. They truly had a special bond. I am praying for you and your family during this difficult time. She is in heaven now and God will be watching over her. Remembering your Mother and hoping comfort and peace will help you through this loss and sadness.
