Barbara Method Obituary
She was the daughter of Norman Mayberry and Emma D. Rector Mayberry. She was a baker and a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church. She was a resident of the Dodson Branch Community.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband George Method who passed away in 2003, brothers, Harold Mayberry, Dolphus Mayberry, Doug Mayberry, Garry Mayberry and Gerald Mayberry; sisters, Arlene Ward, Imma Jean Dillon, Norma Eder and Mary Kemplen and granddaughter, Maria June Method.
Survivors include her son, Martin Norman (Elva) Method of Cookeville; daughter, Bobbi Martin of Cookeville; sisters, Wanda Stamm of Dayton, OH, Judy Lee and Dorothy (Mike) Knight both of Cookeville; grandsons, Brad (Lora) Method and Martin Michael Method both of Cookeville; two great grandchildren, Brantley and Baker Method. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 20, 2025, 4 to 8 pm and Tuesday 9 am to 12 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 12 noon in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Dunn officiating and Brian Lee delivering the obituary. Burial will follow in Dodson Branch Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
