Barbara Mort Obituary
She leaves her loving husband of 35 years Leonard "Lenny" Mort of Millbury, her son, Scott Courville and his wife, Erica of Millbury, her daughter, Marilyn Saucier and her husband, Michael of Worcester, her step-children, David and his wife, Pamela, Gary and Jeffrey Mort and Debra Lambert; her sisters Linda Catino and Lainey Hardy, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her first husband Philip Courville, her daughter, Lynn Bruso, her parents, Vincent and Barbara (Willar) Dagnese, and her brother, Gerald Dagnese.
Barbara graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade School and earned a certificate in hair dressing. She retired as an Activity Director from the former Pine Grove Nursing Home in Millbury. Barbara was a dedicated member of the catholic parishes in Millbury where she served as a eucharistic minister. She was a member and treasurer of the Associates of the Sisters of the Assumption Blessed Virgin. She dedicated her life to God and to helping others.
Family and friends are invited to Barbara's calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 28th at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main St. in Millbury at 10 a.m. on Thursday Dec. 29th. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Barbara's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
