WORCESTER/SUTTON - Tara Christine Ford, 53, passed away on February 5, 2026, after a long battle with addiction.
Tara leaves behind her partner of 26 years, Russell Merchant, three sons Timothy Bathgate and his fiancé Amanda of Webster, Jacob Ford of Sutton (Erin & Dean) and Landon Lanois of Warwick, RI (Susan and Ron). She is also survived by her mother, Deborah (Putnam) Reynolds; her brother Neal Ford and his wife Celeste and her sister Erin Ford and her husband Dean all of Sutton; three grandchildren, Daniel, Grace and Breyden; a niece and a nephew, aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by her loving father, Neal Ford, Sr. and stepfather, David P. Reynolds.
Tara was raised in Sutton, where she was brought up in the Sutton First Congregational Church until she reached confirmation, attended Sutton schools and enjoyed small town life with her family and many friends.
Later, residing in Worcester, she enjoyed listening to music and tending to her vegetable garden. She will be remembered for her terrific sense of humor and her exceptional memory, always recalling happy times with her family.
A graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge, MA at a later date.
