Joel Wesley Ford III

FORD III – Joel Wesley Ford III, age 76 of Loganville, GA passed away on, Wednesday March 18, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, GA, on Saturday April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Dr. Don Witzel and Reverend Jim Peevy officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. He was a 1967 graduate of Dacula High School and continued to show pride in the school by being the voice of the Dacula Falcons Football for 40 years. A dear member if the Sunrise Baptist Church for many years. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service. He is preceded in death by his parents Leila (Tanner) and Joel Welsey Ford Jr., aunts Mary Tanner, Margaret Drake, Margaret Tanner and Ann Tanner. Joel is survived by loving wife of 21 years Donna Louise (Nearing) Ford and many cousins. Flowers or memorials are accepted to the Sunrise Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, GA.
