RIVERS – Warren Malvane Rivers, age 86 of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on, Sunday March 15, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home at 1:00 PM on Friday March 27, 2026, with Dr. Kenneth Samuel officiating. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Warren was born August 18, 1939 in Manhattan, New York. Warren loved life and stayed connected to all his childhood friends, who looked up to him. He also enjoyed close relationships with his siblings, his daughters, and other family members. Warren enjoyed jazz and once dreamed of painting in the streets of Paris. He was a proud member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville. He is preceded in death by his parents William Melvanie Rivers and Lillian Roberta Robertson Rivers and brother Nicky Rivers. Warren is survived by his daughter Larease Rivers, daughter Christine (Vincent) Hill, grandson Stephen Pender, grandson Jahrod Pender, granddaughter Tatiana Hill, granddaughter Yuri Kai Nikki Rivers-Young, great grandson Ni'kai King Mayes, sister Rosalind (Douglas) Law, sister Dr. Carole (Eric) Hysmith, sister Brenda (Luis) Melendez, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
