Pedro R. Ocampo Jr.

OCAMPO, JR. – Pedro R. Ocampo, Jr., age 85, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of the family he cherished so deeply.

A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 30, in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Father Diosma Natad officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, prior to the service.

Pedro lived a full and active life that reflected his energy, curiosity, and love for both people and simple joys. In his younger years, he enjoyed staying active through tennis and jogging, always appreciating the value of health and discipline. Just as active was his mind-he loved playing chess and ping pong, games that brought out both his competitive spirit and his thoughtful nature. He also enjoyed watching sports and was always happy cheering on the Golden State Warriors, sharing the excitement of the game with those around him.

More than any hobby or pastime, Pedro treasured time spent with family. He found great joy in gatherings filled with laughter, stories, and shared meals. His home was a place where relatives and friends felt welcome, and his warmth and humor brought people together. Pedro believed deeply in the importance of family, and he lived that belief every day through his love, support, and quiet strength.

Pedro will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a caring brother whose kindness and dedication shaped the lives of those closest to him. His steady presence, wisdom, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of his family forever.

Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Sr. and Maria (Rosario) Ocampo, and four brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Loreto (Cardinoza) Ocampo; his daughter, Maria Boots Ocampo; five sisters; and many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry his memory and legacy of love forward.

Though he will be deeply missed, Pedro's life will always be remembered through the love he gave, the family he nurtured, and the countless memories shared with those who were blessed to know him.
