Ms. Barbara Francis Brooks Mrugala, age 96 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on February 19, 2025.
She was born in Haverhill, MA to the late Walter Brooks and Maude Shaw Brooks. Barbara was a cosmetologist and of the Protestant faith. She was very artistic, loved to sew and make afghans. She loved to cook, pencil color, crochet, swimming and loved animals but most of all she loved the Lord.
Left to cherish her memory are; her children, Candace (Michael) Pritchard, Cynthia Johnson both of Elberton, Ga. Todd (Dee Dee) Adams
of Campobello, SC. Grandchildren, Alicia Clark, Brian Pritchard, Jeffrey Pritchard, Brittany Adams, Lindsey Adams Morrison, Courtney
Adams, Aaron Johnson and Mekhi Johnson, great-grandchildren, Kayla Clark, Levi Pritchard, Ezra Pritchard, Fynley Morrison and Addison
Morrison and a great-great grandchild, Harper Shannon. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Bruce Edward Adams, sister,
Dorothy Kelly and brothers, Ralph, Theodore and Earl Brooks.
The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held later in Augusta, Ga.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
