Barbara Mull Obituary
Barbara Jane Chandler Mull passed away October 12, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born March 22, 1949 to the late Robert Lester Chandler and Mary Gertrude McGee.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Mull; grandson, Andrew Carter; siblings, Beatrice (William) Horton, Nelson (Katherine) Chandler, Vivian (Charlie) Martin, Flora Spangenberg, McArthur Chandler, Maudine (Gordon) Carter, Edna Earl (Herbie) Gray and Marie (Bob) Michel.
She was a loving and caring woman who always gave of herself to others. A devoted mother, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She especially loved cooking for holidays and family gatherings—her banana pudding and deviled eggs were always among the first dishes to disappear.
She is survived by her children, Sonnie Mull (Debbie) and Wendy Mull (Paul); granddaughter, Leanna Carter and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Plantersville Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Jones officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma. Interment will follow in the churchyard after the funeral service. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Carter, Brandon Wright, Robert Gray, Matt Carter, Preston Carter, Landon Wesley and Corey Burge.
