Barbara Navey Obituary

She was born August 11, 1937, in Iredell County to the late Samuel and Marguerite Johnston Poston.
Barbara worked for Bell South for many years. She also worked at JC Penney and McDonalds for several years.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene C. Navey, and her brother Jimmy Poston.
Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Navey, sister, Susan P. Striker and husband Jack, sister-in-law, Joyce Poston, grandson, Josh Navey and wife Cassie, and great-grandson, Kane Moore.
A graveside service officiated by Pastor John Freeman will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Gaston Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematory, 1503 South York Road, Gastonia, NC from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
