Barbara Nelson Obituary
Barbara Lackman Nelson, 74 of Moorhead, MN passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in her home.
Barbara was born to Leonard and Patricia Lackmann on June 1, 1950, in Moorhead, MN.
She is survived by four children: Rachel Julius Burnsville, MN; James (Jill) Nelson, Moorhead, MN; Sarah (Adam) Sonnenberg, Dent, MN; and Elizabeth (Neal) Nelson Dittrich, Horace, MN. Barbara is also survived by seven grandchildren: Nick and Abby Julius, Anna and JD Nelson, Molly and Mallory Greiff, and Max Sonnenberg, as well as several granddogs; sister, Mary (Kevin) Barton and brother Leonard "Bob" (Cathy) Lackmann. Barbara is also survived by her beloved dog Remy and, of course, her heart dog, Lucy, as well as Desi her cat.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
Barbara's ashes will be spread at a later date in a private ceremony with family.
