Barbara Jane Olson, age 75, of Bettendorf, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in her home. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of the Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the upcoming weeks at St. Ann Catholic Church, Long Grove.

Barbara was born on December 17, 1949 in Washington, IA, to James and Bernice (Covington) Pacha. She grew up on a farm in the Long Grove area with her 13 brothers and sisters. Barbara graduated from North Scott High School in 1968. Barbara graduated from Blackhawk College and worked for several years in the community at local nursing homes retiring in 2002. She enjoyed being a musician, playing guitar at family gatherings. She also loved painting and enjoyed selling her work at the local Farmer’s Market. She enjoyed a good round of golf, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her husband, John; sons, Jim and Dan; daughters, Heidi, Jessica, and Jennifer; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jim, Paul, Hank, Loretta, Peggy, Bonnie, and Roberta.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Pete, Jack, Mike, Lucy, and Flo.
