Barbara Jean Perrigue, departed this world peacefully at the age of 74 on October 12, 2025. Born on January 3, 1951, to the late Joseph and Martha Sprowl Shockome.
Barbara was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, residing in Victoria, Texas. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Carl Perrigue, was known as an avid reader, and loved taking care of her plants. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Roseanne Green, Sarah Somwalt, Dale Shockome and Joey Shockome.Barbara is survived by her daughter, Sandra Chumchal and husband, Kelly of Wharton, sons, Carl Perrigue, Jr and wife, Amy of Victoria, Thomas Perrigue and wife, Crystal of Robstown and Donnie Perrigue and wife, Stephanie of Ingleside, sisters, Mary Shockome and Dorothy DeLaGrange both of Indiana, brother, Robert Shockome of Indiana, grandchildren, Hannah Chumchal, Ralston Chumchal, Matthew Perrigue, Hank Perrigue, Kristen Perrigue, Madison Perrigue, MacKenna Perrigue and Landon Perrigue and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She cherished her family and was known for her loving spirit and generous heart.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Golden Sunset in Victoria at 10 am.
