Barbara A. Plank, 76, of Yardley died Saturday March 16, 2024, at Yardley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Barbara was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to the late Eva and Elek Mate. Barbara grew up in Morrisville and then settled down in Levittown in the early 1980’s. She received her high school diploma from Morrisville high school. Barbara was always a kind and caring soul, she was a loving homemaker and cared for her parents and then her younger sister when they became ill. In her free time, Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing games, and watching movies; she also liked going to the casinos and winning “Big Money” She also enjoyed reading and doing her word-find puzzles.
Barbara is predeceased by her sister Joyce Mate; her brother Elek Mate; her brothers-in-law, Jim Kania, Bertram Robinson, and Karl Haas; and her father-in-law, Robert Plank. She is survived by her children, Billy Plank and his wife, Allison, Anastasia Marcella and her husband, John, and Victoria Plank; her grandchildren, Elek, Morgan, Judy, and Finn; her sisters Linda Robinson and Shirley Haas; along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and close friends. She will also be terribly missed by her favorite “grand-dog," her “fur baby”, Ladybug.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Avenue Morrisville, PA 19067. A time of sharing will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will be held privately. Burial will be private.
