Mrs. Latoya Atkinson
June 29, 2024
I met barb through my mother in law Annette Atkinson. Her & barb were friends since young age. I was getting married & my mother in law called her in to help out. She & I became very close, calling & texting each other uplifting one another as much as we could. I´m so thankful I had the opportunity to meet such an incredible woman. She gave the best advice I´m going to miss that, & also her beautiful smile. To the family I´ll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm going to miss those annual April 1st birthday calls to you. Ironically, I was late this year and you wondered if I was okay. You were concerned and that meant a lot to me. I'm glad we stayed in touch and were able to talk that one last time. Whenever I have Scribs, I always let my Family know who hipped me to it. They would get excited when they know that's where we're going. Plus, you always said that, "it's even better the next day!" LOL. You have left an indelible mark on many, me being one Barbara and I am godly proud to say I've known you for these last 40 years. I will keep your Family lifted up in prayer and will always have great memories of you. Love, your friend, Deacon John D. Hoskins, Grand Rapids, MI.
