Barbara Rosengren Obituary Barbara Elise (Trettel) Rosengren, Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving daughter in her presence and loving family and friends from near and far.
Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Elizabeth Trettel; son, Peter Rosengren; daughter, Kathleen Smyth; grandson, Sean Toomey and six beautiful sisters.
Barbara is survived by her children, Michael Tarose (Fei Zheng), Bern Rosengren, Tim (Sarah) Rosengren, Karri Creamer (Jim Greiner); Grandchildren, Eleisha Smyth (Tim Jordan), Nick Creamer, Sarah Bowar, Becky Bowar (David Heinen), Sam Rosengren, Suki Tarose, Coral Rosengren, Brad (Sara) Rosengren, Jade (Spencer) Singer, Kayla (Zach) Pettit, Ann Zhou; Great-grandchildren, Tim and Isaac Jordan, Nova Hartzell, Vin Heinen, Kalla, Christopher and Caylynn Jensen, Brynleigh Rosengren and Evren Toomey; brother, David (Barb) Trettel, and a relationship built out of love for her two beautiful granddaughters, Terry Steffen Bower.
Barb was born and raised in White Bear Lake, MN and found herself raising her family in Mahtomedi. Barb was always hard-working, sometimes working multiple jobs to love and care for her children. In 1981 Barb started her long career at 3M as a dedicated administrative assistant. After her retirement she volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was always willing to lend a helping hand for those in need and those whom she dearly loved. Until we meet again in any way, shape or form. 'BIG TIME!' We would like to thank the angels that cared for her for 3 years at the Lyngblomsten Care Center, 2nd floor 'Johnson neighborhood' and the Allina Hospice team. Celebration of Life at a later date.
