Barbara Helene Rosinski

Barbara Helene Rosinski, born on April 7, 1933, in Brookfield, Vermont, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, in South Rockwood, Michigan, at the age of 92.
Barbara dedicated her professional life to public service, working diligently in the State and Treasury Department for the United States government. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her career, as she was an active volunteer, notably offering her expertise in tax preparation for the AARP. Known for her friendly and social nature, Barbara touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.
Barbara's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world both professionally, including Africa, Malaysia, and Japan, and personally, with Joe, including Germany, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Alaska. For the past 18 years, Barbara and Joe enjoyed residing in Florida, where they cherished the warm weather and vibrant community.
Barbara was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Barbara leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband of 63 years, Joseph; her children, Michael, Dawn Sagert, and Christopher; her cherished grandchildren, Bryan and Samantha (Lucas); and two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Millie. She will also be missed by many other family members and friends who were touched by her generous spirit.
A memorial service to honor Barbara's life will be held at St. Mary, Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church in South Rockwood, MI, on Friday, June 20, 2025. Instate will be from 10:00 to 10:30 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 am. A memorial luncheon will follow the service.
