Barbara Sanft Obituary
Fruitland - Barbara Jean Sanft, 90, of Fruitland, New Mexico passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born on July 11, 1930 in Long Beach, California to John and Anne Cook.
Jean worked at PLPOA, the Chamber of Commerce and the Wyndam Resort. She was an avid quilter and belonged to several groups in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Jean was a Marine Corps wife for 73 years. She loved to travel, visit friends, and loved living in Pagosa Springs.
Jean is preceded in death by her loving husband; Richard S. Sanft, sons; James Michael Sanft, Richard John Sanft and son in law; Alan Douglas Youts. She is survived by her daughters; Anne M. Youts and Jacqueline D. Vincent and daughter in law; Sue Sanft, grandchildren; Justin Fierman, Gregory Fierman, Johanna Olsen, Katrina Dunne and Ceara Pertain and eight Great Grandchildren.
There will be no services at this time. Jean's care is entrusted to Alternative Choice Funeral & Cremation. Condolences may be made to serenityandcompany.com
