Born in Philadelphia to the late Harry Ilias Malo and Cecelia Clare (née Kadtke), she was formerly of the Lower Kensington Section of Philadelphia and graduated from St. Michael Business High School. Barbara was devoted to her Catholic faith and a member of the Church of the Incarnation parish in Mantua, NJ. She enjoyed shopping (alot), crafts, sewing, and crochet; but most of all loved her family, and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted husband, James A. Sanger; her son, James D. Sanger and his wife Lauren (née Magargal) of Greenwich, CT; her daughter, Jeannette M. Sanger and her husband Samuel M. Young of Mantua Twp., NJ; and two grandchildren, Cecilia C. Young and Frithjof A. Sanger.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Woolwich Twp., NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.
Barbara was a remarkable woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend -- she always made us laugh and touched many lives with her generosity, spirit, love, and commitment to her family. She was a source of joy and inspiration for everyone who met her, and she never stopped giving and caring for others. She will be profoundly missed, and her memory will forever reside in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
