Barbara Ann Saylor, age 87 of Dallas, passed away peacefully at home with her family present on Friday, January 9, 2026. Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in the mausoleum at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lauren Mills officiating. Mrs. Saylor was born in McCaysville, Georgia to the late Robert Gray and Martha Fortner Gray. She was a life-long member of The Church of God and was a devoted Christian woman who read her Bible daily. She was a devoted wife and aunt who had no biological children of her own, but she considered her many nieces and nephews her children. Mrs. Saylor was ready for the next life and was taken care of by her family until the very end.
Mrs. Saylor is preceded in death by her husband James Madison Saylor. She is survived by her life-long best friend Mary Ledbetter; step-daughter Sharon Saylor; step-grandchildren Lori Rogers, David Sheddan and Kimberly Stillwachs and their children; nieces Terri Jackson and Sharon Gray; great nieces and nephews Christopher Mills, Amanda Jackson, Melissa Singletary, Kelley Cook, Sara Rountree, Trenton Jackson, and Caleb Jackson; and many great-great nieces and nephews.
