Barbara Joan Oosse, Eubanks, Schill (Boodie) Born April 29, 1937 in Mobile, AL departed this life December 28, 2024 at the age of 87. She was a member of the Salvation Army most of her life and, the last four years, a member of the Foster Grove Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Haskel Eubanks of 53 years and her parents Jack Oosse Sr & Ada Caisley Oosse of Mobile, AL (formerly from Holland & England). Sisters: Hannah Mareno, Mary Manzano, Margaret Edlund, Shirley Tangonan of CA, and Betty Gilmore of CO. Brothers: Jack Oosse Jr of Mobile, AL, James Oosse of OH, and John Oosse of FL. One grand-daughter Jaclyn Rae Eubanks of Amarillo, TX.
She is survived by her second husband Martin Schill of Millry, AL. Two sons: Jack (Robin) Eubanks of Lake Toxaway, NC and James (Wanda) Eubanks of Mobile, AL. One grand-daughter, Barbara (Joe) Hernandez of Amarillo, TX. Six great-grandchildren: Ashley (Julian) Martinez, Julian & JaNelle Hernandez of Amarillo,TX, and Andrea, Audrey, and Abigail of Eunice, NM. One great great-grandson, Noah Martinez of Amarillo, TX. Step sister-in-law: Leola Bergasch of OK. One step-daughter: Vickie (David) Speed of TX. Two step-sons: Blake (Marilyn) Schill of OK and Marty (Cindy) Schill of Millry, AL and lots of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 11-12pm followed by funeral service at 12pm Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
