Barbara Seestedt Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 23, 2024.
Barbara "Barber" Elsie Seestedt, age 76, of Keshena, passed away on September 22, 2024. Born in Greenwich, CT, on January 6, 1948, to the late Frederick and Annette (Johnson) Walters. She graduated from Pensacola High School. Barber was united in marriage to Henry "Hank" (Keshena) Seestedt and was married to him for 49 wonderful years until he later passed on November 11, 2016. Together they would fish and go to car shows. Barber was a woman that loved adventure. She was born to travel and enjoyed so many trips with her husband and continued to travel after his passing. Barber especially loved visiting her sister in Florida. When she wasn't out and about, she was an avid reader and would get lost in the world of books. She had a loving presence and was a fun-loving wife, mother, and sister. She will be dearly missed.
Barber is survived by: her daughter, Rian Seestedt; her sisters Nancy (Larry) Armstrong and Kathleen Parker; her brother-in-law, Matthew Seestedt; her niece Rachel (David) Dubose. She is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hank Seestedt, her son Walker Seestedt and her parents Fredrick and Annette.
Services for Barber were held.
