Barbara Moss Smith, 49, passed away on Saturday, January 20. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 8 at 11:00 am at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Reverend Brian Davis will officiate.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at Joyner's Funeral Home.
Barbara is survived by her son, Jacob Smith and wife, Megan and granddaughter, Harper of Wilson; daughter, Katherine Smith and grandson, Thomas Waters of Asheville; sisters, Pat Dawson and husband, Randy of Elm City and Rosa Prater and husband, Daniel of Elm City; and father, Charles Moss of Elm City.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Moss.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
