Barbara Jean Spicer, beloved daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Alma (Deal) Spicer, was born on October 19, 1960, in Fairview, TN. She passed away on March 28, 2024, at her residence in White Bluff, TN. Barbara's warm presence and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Barbara was a very proud mother to her sons Aedan (Brandon) Whitaker-Meeker, Jerry (Heather) Whitaker, and Dalton Ballard. Her grandchildren Landon, Tegan, Lyiah, Nyle, and Lyle filled her life with joy and laughter. She was engaged to Kevin Ballard, who brought immense happiness into her life.

Known for her unwavering loyalty and witty sense of humor, Barbara was also a hardworking individual who always prioritized others before herself. Her hobbies included playing bingo, cooking delicious meals, tending to her garden with love, and indulging in the art of coloring. A cup of coffee in hand often accompanied her as she enjoyed these simple pleasures.

In addition to her immediate family members, Barbara is survived by her brother Alan (Rita) Spicer, sisters Linda Buie and Dawn Patrick. She is predeceased, in addition to her parents, by her siblings, Betty Peach, Dorris Spicer, Nancy Tanksley, Wayne Spicer, Elizabeth Cantrell, and Ella "PeeWee" Parker.

The visitation for Barbara will be held at Dickson Funeral Home- Fairview Chapel on April 17th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.

Barbara Jean Spicer will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she shared unconditionally with those around her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy of kindness and compassion lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
