Barbara Steffel Obituary
Barbara Steffel, 77, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2023. There will be a gathering of family and friends and a memorial service held at a later date.
Barbara was born on June 29, 1946 in Water Valley, MS. She was married to the love of her life, Richard, for 56 years. She was a licensed cosmetologist; however, she worked as an office administrator. She did hair for her friends as a social time and for fun. Barbara loved animals, but her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. Barbara was not a fan of funerals. She wants her friends and loved ones to remember her as she was in life; a happy person, loving everyone.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Richard Steffel of Olive Branch; son, Corey Steffel (Jennifer Boland) of Olive Branch; daughter, Cari Steffel (Daniel Sammons) of Olive Branch; granddaughter, Cassidy Steffel; and grandson, Cameron Beke.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Nigal Eugene and Bonnie Blanch Wolfe; and two sisters.
In lieu of traditional flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Barbara Steffel to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
