Barbara Stockton Obituary
75, of St. Petersburg, FL with a gentle smile, Barbara Stockton answered the call of the Lord and received her heavenly escort on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 4:09 am.
A woman of grace, faith, and unwavering dedication, Barbara served as a Registered Nurse at Bayfront Medical Center for over 30 years. Her heart for people extended beyond the hospital walls, as she also ministered internationally for more than 40 years. Known to many as Mother Barbara Stockton - and more affectionately as Aunt Barbara - she was a cherished spiritual guide and friend.
A devoted member of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC), she faithfully served as Youth Mother and Mission President, as well as in leadership for the State Women's and Missions Department of the Florida Western Jurisdiction of COGIC.
Her legacy of love, prayer, and service lives on in the hearts of her sisters, nieces and nephews, Godchildren, special friends, and a host of spiritual sons and daughters.
Celebrations of Love and Service, Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 3-4:30 pm and Celebration of love from 5-7 pm at Pentecostal Temple COGIC. Her Homegoing Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 19, at 11 am at Prayer Tower COGIC.
