Barbara Studier Obituary
A lifelong area resident, Barbara was born on February 6, 1962 the daughter of Berth Garrasi and the late Charles Sofia. She attended schools in Troy and Amsterdam.
On July 8, 1989 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth F. Studier. She was employed as a CNA for many years. Barbara loved her life, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her mother, Bertha; her beloved husband Ken; three children, Crystal (Sean) Kenneally, Robert Studier and Ashleigh Studier; five cherished grandchildren, Isabella, Jospeh, Aaria, Kinsley and Emerie; three siblings, Sandra Bentley, Donald Bentley and Glenda Gill; nieces, nephews and cousins.
It was Barbara's request there be no formal funeral services.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association www.lung.org or to Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rose & Hughes Funeral Home.
