Ben and Darraugh Cianfichi
December 6, 2021
We will treasure our many happy memories of joyful laughter and sharing dinners at our favorite restaurants and diners over more than 20 years (including all the pranks we played on each other)! We especially remember the night that Frank and Barbara came to the Center for Culinary Arts with us for an "Open House" night of free hors d´oeuvres. It resulted in Ben´s applying as a student in the culinary school program even though he had just retired from 37 years of teaching! After 1 1/2 years of intense course work, it ended with Graduation and a final culminating experience. As a class, Ben did a presentation of an elaborate dinner for 120 people at which Frank and Barbara were our special guests. They shared in our love of music (especially the 50´s and 60´s) and our new sport of competing in Dog Agility. They often spoke with much pride about the wonderful accomplishments of their children and the many activities that were shared in their growing-up years, weddings and their grandchildren. Barbara and Frank are a family that love life and the various people that crossed their paths. Barbara was especially fond and appreciative of the church "family" she found at the Noroton Presbyterian Church´s Bible Study. She equally loved the physical therapy group at the Tully Center where Barbara faithfully participated and encouraged so many others to "keep on"!
Barbara, we love you and we will miss you as we cherish all of our many fond memories together!

Barbara and Frank always got to my concerts early enough to sit up front. They weren't "online" people, so they got concert info from the newspaper, or word of mouth. We would usually have a quick chat before and after the show, and over the years I came to appreciate them more and more. Their love of music was palpable. Barbara was always so warm and gracious! If one of our main purposes in life is to spread love and joy, I say to Barbara - well done! My condolences to Frank, Todd, Staci and all family and friends whose life was enriched by Barbara's presence.

Dear Frank, Stacie and family, I will always remember Barbara as she used to say I was the one she always remembered. Frank, you and Barbara followed my husband's band (Tony Reno) for years. She always had a smile on her face for us. God bless her and your family. Etta
