Barbara A. Swider

Barbara A. Swider, passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2024. Barbara, dear daughter of the late John and Mary Swider (nee Wiercioch); sister of the late Dolores and Francis Naughton, John and Jennie Swider. She was the best Aunt to John (Jack) Swider Jr., Francis Naughton Jr., Dolores Naughton, late John Naughton, Michael (Megan) Swider, Lisa (Bradley) Byrne, and Great Aunt to John Swider, Kristina (John) Aleksiejczyk, Megan (Gordon) McDonough, Mary Naughton, Michael Swider Jr., Victoria (Ludwin) Ventura, Jennifer Byrne, Moira McDonald, Bryanna Byrne, Kirsten Swider, John McDonald and Bradley Byrne Jr; Great-Great-Aunt to six. Barbara graduated John W. Hallahan High School, Class of 1955; dedicated her working life until retirement with Conrail, and volunteered many hours to St. Francis Xavier Church. Family and friends are invited to her funeral mass at 10:00 on Wednesday, April 3rd at the St. Francis Xavier Church (The Oratory) 2319 Green Street, Philadelphia PA 19130. A viewing will be held in church on Wednesday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Francis Xavier Church, address above.
