Barbara Taccone Obituary
Barb was a graduate of Perry High School in Pittsburgh. She was a secretary at Hammermill International Paper for many years until her retirement and then worked as Dr. Johnson's secretary for a couple of years. Barb enjoyed being part of the bowling league at Eastway Lanes for more than 30 years and found great joy in gardening, her favorite pastime. She will be remembered as a caring, kindhearted woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barb is survived by one son, Gregory Gulnac (Jackie); three grandchildren: Sarah Gulnac, Gregory Gulnac Jr. and Adam Glaspell; one brother, Gary Gsell (Bobbie Jean); and two nieces: Shannon and Dawn.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Tony" Taccone and daughter, Sandi Glaspell.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral & Cremation Services Harborcreek, 5151 Buffalo Rd. (at Hannon Rd.) on Saturday, January 3rd from 11 AM until 1 PM. Barb will be privately laid to rest at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.dusckasfuneralhomes.com.
