Mrs.Tomei was born on March 2,1942 in Suches, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Massie Seabolt Burnett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Tomei, daughter, Lydia Williams Berry, brothers, James Manus and Jimmy Lee and sister Dorothy Moon.
Mrs. Tomei loved children. She had a green thumb and was an avid gardener She loved fishing, crafting and painting on canvas. She was the sweetest, kindest most generous person. God couldn't have given me a better person to be my mama.
Mrs. Tomei is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lonna and Jackie Helton of Dawsonville, son and daughter-in-law, A.J. and Patti Wigington of Flowery Branch, sister and brother-in-law, Frankie and Ronnie Hix of Fair Play, S.C., brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Wanda Revis of South Carolina, grandchildren, Josie Mincey and Jessie Williams, great grandchildren, Skyleigh Williams and Nova Williams.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
