Barbara Ann Trigg, 83, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024.
A lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Barbara was born on August 29, 1941. She attended Northeast High School and worked on the assembly line at General Motors, until she retired. Barbara enjoyed experiencing life, whether that was through dancing, fishing, or her favorite hobby - shopping. An amazing cook, Barbara had a talent for creating delicious meals without ever following a recipe. Though she had a spunky, strong spirit she also had a soft spot for animals, especially her dogs.
Barbara is preceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul R. Trigg.
Barbara is survived by her loving family; children, Betty Buchanan, Vince Trigg, Bob Ferguson, and Bonnie Sandstorm; grandchildren, Robert Buchanan, Justin Buchanan, Bradley Trigg, John Sandstrom, Stephanie Sandstrom, Stevie Sandstrom, Nicole Ferguson, and Danielle Ferguson; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and brother, Dale Naset.
Visitation will be held at Terrace Park on Friday, October 11, from 6 to 8 PM, followed by a funeral service and burial on Saturday, October 12, at 10 AM. Flowers are welcomed, or, donations may be made to local KC Pet Project in her memory.
