Barbara E. Greenman Trott
Barbara E. Greenman Trott, 86, formerly of Greene Township, passed away Monday July 7, 2025. She was born in Mina, NY on October 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Harry E. and LaVona Hill Greenman.
Barbara graduated from Academy High School in 1956. She was a former member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a current member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She was past vice president of the Postal Service Ladies Auxiliary in Modesto, CA and enjoyed puzzles and playing cards. Barbara was an amazing grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jerome "Jerry" Trott, and two brothers, James and William Greenman.
Survivors include her daughter, Tanya Abplanalp (Dave) of Ft. Wayne, IN; four sons, Jerome Trott, Jr. (Tracie), Christopher Trott (Linda), Jeffrey Trott, and Theodore Trott; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Tyler, Clayton, Randi, Samantha, and Alexandra; eight great grandchildren, Alexis, Brayden, Christian, Paislee, Nash, Willow, Emma, and Harrison; two sisters, Valeria Carlson and Garnet Lee, all of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday, July 11th from 5 p.m. until time of service there at 7 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
