David R. Boesch, age 78, of Erie, passed away, Friday, October 3, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Erie, on April 2, 1947, a son of Shirley M. Beebe Boesch and the late Raymond E. Boesch.

David graduated from Academy High School and went on to serve in the United States Coast Guard. He worked for General Electric and most recently retired from Erie Water Works. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and the Saints and Sinners Club. David will be remembered as a real friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, survivors include brother, Gary F. Boesch (Darcie), of Charlotte, NC and his nephew, Timothy Boesch, of Syracuse, NY.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by his brother, Larry W. Boesch.

Friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, October 7th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, Pa 16504. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
