Barbara Weaver Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stanton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc - Honey Brook on Dec. 7, 2025.
Barbara passed away on December 5, 2025, in the comfort of knowing her husband.
(Craig Weaver) was there by her side every day of her life until the end. These two, in
their months leading to her passing, would often plan vacations to the beach, enjoying
each other's time when they took boat rides on the sound and ocean. She loved and
continued to live knowing that she was cherished, valued, and supported by her
children, Jennifer (Bill) Kiritsis, Brian Lynch, and Brandon (Sarah) Weaver. Her children
and immediate loved ones cherished the family gatherings Barbara would host so that
she knew her family would stay close to her heart. Barbara loved her grandchildren, Nik,
Eli and Sophia Kiritsis, each day, which assisted with her overall health and happiness
throughout her entire life. Barbara was loved by these family members, and the
memories she developed over the years helped her pass in peace and comfort,
knowing that she got to spend her passing moments thinking of the family time they all
had in Ocean City, Maryland.
Barbara Weaver was born in 1956 in Hazelton, PA, and was the loving daughter of
Gertrude and Raymond Koslop. Barbara's siblings: Helen Debalso, Debbie DeSabella,
Theresa Tarselli, Dee Traub, Carol Martzen, Raymond Koslop, and Robert Koslop were
always present in her life and she found comfort knowing that she could return to them
at any time to bring her the peace she needed. The great family memories, laughter and
experiences they shared always carried on throughout Barbara's life and she would
often share those stories and continue on the traditions of her childhood, especially
during the holiday seasons with her children and grandchildren. Barbara's fondest
memories with her siblings and their families included the times they went to Lakewood
Park, Newport, and Ocean City. These memories and the support and deep love of her
friends and family helped her find solace in her final moments.
Barbara would want her loved ones to continue to remember her for her love of family
and her desire to uphold the deep traditions that she cherished so much throughout her
life.
Services will be held privately by her family on December 12, 2025.
