Beryl Hickling, who went by her middle name June, was loved by all, especially by her family, that
was far and near. She married to Stanley Hickling in Jamaica, and out of this union she had four
children: Glen Hickling, Dawn Crooks Jones, Juliet Zambrano, and Meschelle Banks. Step-
Children: Fred Hickling, Duran Hickling, Jackie Hickling, Angela Hickling. June was a very special
individual who just did not put up with anybody stuff, especially her grandchildren. It was
always about Jesus first in her life, and she was always willing and ready to share her Christian faith
with those who would listen to her. June was born in Falmouth Trelawny, Jamaica W.I. She
moved to the United States in the early 70's, at which time she began to build a new life for her
family, who later joined her. June, like many of us, lived a life of self until she came to know the
Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior through the Billy Graham ministries. This was a
significant and massive shift in her life. She was bold for Christ and believed in what she
preached and taught. June eventually moved to Coney Island and joined the membership of
Coney Island Gospel Assembly in Brooklyn, New York, under the leadership of Pastor Jack
Sanfilippo in 1979-1980. June was very much in the people-caring business in the church, and
she believed in investing in people's lives as well as reaching others in her many jobs she worked
outside the church. June was a true evangelist and would go wherever the Spirit would lead her.
June then moved out of the New York area and came to Pennsylvania to live, and of course, her
family followed her some years later. Her family has always been a close one and there for one
another in the good times and the bad ones. And yes, like many other families, they didn't
always get along, but they knew how to kiss and make amends. June then later joined her son-
In-law Pastor Anthony Jones' ministry, Christ Kingdom Assembly of Allentown and became one
of the leaders to help spearhead the ministry in reaching souls for Christ.

June was loved by all and would go the extra mile to help anyone. She loved to cook and would
feed anyone, no matter what, and if you refused, she would definitely scold you and say, "What's the
Matter, you don't like my food?" June touched many lives and lead people to Christ as their
Savior over the years since she came to Jesus Christ, and if she were alive today, her question to
You would be "Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?" "Do you want to go to hell?"
