Robert Wegman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stanton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc - Honey Brook on Jan. 16, 2026.
Robert S. Wegman III, known as "Bob" or "Bobby" Wegman, was called home by his Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 13, 2026. While our hearts deeply grieve his passing, we
rejoice in the sure promise of eternal life through Christ, which was the foundation of Bob's faith
and the greatest focus of his life.
A devoted man to his family, Bob deeply loved all of them, especially his wife, Mickey, of almost
46 years, who is the true love of his life. He took great pride in all 5 of his children, his 2
beautiful daughters-in-law, and was most proud of their faith in Christ and desire to live for Him.
His three grandchildren were also the little joys of his life.
Bob was happiest when around a table of good food, followed by a long nap. He had a lifelong
love for trains and their history, and experienced countless rides on over 75 different railroads.
Dad also enjoyed exploring coal mines and often expressed he would have loved to work in a
coal mine or on a railroad. Dad appreciated and loved all types of animals, especially his
sidekick cat, YoYo. He also brought home many unique animals over the years, to the delight of
his children and the consternation of his wife.
Bob was a hard worker, and a man of integrity, who understood the value of commitment and
honest labor. He carried a strong work ethic throughout his life, and did not complain about
working hard. God gave Dad such a mind in that he was able to figure out problems with
engines, machinery, refrigeration, and so much more. Dad was unique in the self-taught skills
through the intelligent mind God blessed him with. In the midst of working hard, Dad was
looking forward to the joys of retirement this year, but is now experiencing the true eternal joys
of a life lived for Jesus.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, humility, humor, and his unwavering faith. His legacy
lives on in the many lives he touched, the example he set for all of us, and his deep faith in
Jesus Christ. Dad's loving family will all cherish his memory, remembering him with a chuckle
and smile, a deep love, and will carry forward the faith and values he instilled in all of them.
Bob leaves behind his beautiful wife Mickey, son Bob IV and his wife Michelle, son Peter and his
wife Janet, daughter Ashley, daughter Sam, daughter Annie, and his 3 grandchildren Mavis,
Ryle and Lydia. Bob is survived by his parents Robert S. Wegman Jr. and Leona Wegman, and
his siblings Michele (John) Hubert, Stephanie (Ted) Galanos, and Jordan (Tiffany) Wegman, and
many nieces and nephews.
Bob's Celebration of Life service will be held at New Life Bible Fellowship Church of Oley, PA on
Monday, January 19th. A time to greet the family will begin at 5pm, with a Celebration of Life
service starting at 6pm, followed by a dessert reception. If desired, flowers can be brought to the
Celebration of Life service.

Mickey and family.

I'm a so sorry to hear of the passing of Bobby. We shared many fun memories in high school. He was a hard worker--even during those years. He enjoyed playing football and his sense of humor was unmatched. His smile could light up a room. Wishing all of you peace in the days ahead.
