Barbara Lynn Wilhite Adams

Barbara Lynn Wilhite Adams, age 62, of Linden, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 9, 2024 in a Southaven, Mississippi hospital. She was born August 1, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee to Kinsey and Billie Horn Wilhite. Barbara was a member of Laws Chapel Methodist Church. She was a retired dispatcher for Atlanta Police Department an active member and Vice President of Cass County Fire District #4. Barbara never met a stranger and her smile was as big as her heart. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out and always said that everyone needed a "Crazy Aunt Barbara."
Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Kinsey Wilhite; and her sister, Jennifer Willhite.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Bob Adams of Linden, Texas; son, Jaryn Adams of Linden, Texas; daughter, Hailley Adams of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; mother, Billie Wilhite of Walls, Mississippi; sisters, Leslie Logan and husband Bobby, Laurie Paylor and husband Greg; nieces and nephews, Dale Logan and wife Heather, Amy Heifner and husband Kyle, Anna Barton, Logan Scott, Calie Moore, Catherine Barton, Gabby Samson; a miracle grandchild on the way; and a host of great nieces, nephews, other family and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Laws Chapel Methodist Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Rev. Jeff Lindsey officiating.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, before the service, at the church.
Interment will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery.
