Barbara Kramer Campbell Williams of West Jordan, Utah returned to her Heavenly home peacefully at the age of 90 on November 11, 2025. She is now reunited and welcomed home after her earthly journey by her deceased parents, siblings, late daughter, Mary Bartell, granddaughters Julie Faught, Kimberly Labrum Hoffman, and the baby son Jed Kramer Campbell that only lived two short days.

Barbara was born on November 26, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the fourth child of Karl Leendert and Fim Van Slageren Kramer. She grew up in a loving home with parents who were from Utrecht, Netherlands. Her loving family showed kindness and generosity to everyone they met.

Barbara married Scott Lee Campbell on March 16, 1951. Together, they raised nine children: Barbara Elaine Palmer (Mike); Katherine Colleen Labrum (Tom); Shauna Christine Faught (Steve); Walter Scott (Kathleen); Garth Lee (Bernie); Mary Annette Bartell (Tracy); Mark Kramer (Kristin); Jed Kramer; Sarah Ann Navarre (Mike Wolf). She was also blessed with 30 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Barbara and Scott were married for 30 years and lived in various locations, including Lapway, Idaho, Clarkston, Washington, Lewiston, Idaho, Granger, Utah, and Taylorsville, Utah. They divorced.

Later in life, on January 24, 1992, Barbara married Gilbert Griffin Williams. They were sealed in the Temple for eternity. With Gilbert, Barbara shared a loving stepdaughter, Jane Martinez, two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. They enjoyed traveling together and spending winters in Yuma, Arizona with friends.

Professionally, Barbara achieved many accomplishments. Despite having seven children at home, she attended cosmetology school and became a licensed beautician. She opened her own home salon, where she expertly styled hair for her neighbors, friends, and family, providing extra income for her large family. She later worked for the State of Utah, first as a printer and later as an Office Manager at the Department of Commerce, where she retired in 1993.

In her free time, Barbara was incredibly particular and meticulous, which translated into many talents. She always took great care with her appearance and her home. While some may have perceived her as stern, she was actually a shy and sensitive soul. Barbara was a quick learner and excelled at various skills, such as crafting hand-dipped chocolates and making candy during the holidays. She also had a talent for sewing and made beautiful clothing for herself and her children.

Her creative spirit extended to decorating and artistic pursuits, including ceramics making Lladro-style figurines, painting canvases, and creating stunning holiday displays. She was a frequent attendee of the Festival of Trees and home and garden shows, passionate about beautiful things like roses and tulips, and always eager to see the results of a family home renovation.

Despite financial struggles in their early years, Barbara and Scott were resourceful, instilling in their children the values they learned from Barbara's Dutch parents. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various roles and forming lasting friendships. Barbara was known for her generosity, loyalty to her family, and preserving Dutch traditions through the generations.

She took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and extended family, always eager to hear updates and see photos. While she loved to travel and see the world with Gilbert, her heart was always at home with her loved ones. She was a devoted mother, always ready to offer guidance and support with her practical nature. Her legacy lives on through the small yet meaningful lessons she taught by example, showing that the details make all the difference. Her family loves her, and she will be greatly missed, until we see her again.
