Bruce W Larsen, 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Murray, Utah.
Bruce was born April 30, 1944, in Glendale, California to Don and Susan Larsen.
He graduated from Burbank High School and then served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico City, Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Soon after, he married the love of his life, Olga Vasquez, on July 15, 1966, in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity.
After attending Brigham Young University and California State University, Northridge, he graduated from California State University, Los Angeles in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Due to a tough accounting market and for a better salary at the time, he began his career as a computer programmer. He worked for Lockheed Corporation, EG&G, Grand Central, UDISCO, Computer Associates, and Zions Bank Corporation.
As a member of the LDS church, Bruce served in the Primary, Elder's Quorum, and Ward Financial Clerk.
Bruce enjoyed a variety of activities throughout his life. He played, coached, and/or officiated basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer. He took family road trips. He could often be found watching sports or episodes of "Law & Order".
Bruce's greatest joy in life was being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Olga; daughters, Glenda, Shelley (Epoki Mahina), Carissa; sons, Ken (DeEtte), Bradley; brothers, Lon (Pam), Kent, Jon (Edith); sister, Tina; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Don and Susan.
