Barbara Jo Woolcock

Barbara Jo Woolcock, wife, mother and grandmother, died Thursday October 23, 2025, of cancer. She was 76.
Born in a Logan, West Virginia on July 14, 1949 to Mary and Steve Popp, Barbara will be remembered as a loving, warm, generous, but tenacious spirit who stood up for what was right and for those she loved. The youngest of six, she was a devoted daughter and sister who showed reverence and dedication to family. For friends, she offered a listening ear, a loving heart, and a warm embrace. For those who would do wrong or harm her friends and family, she would sharply offer them a piece of her mind.
Barbara is survived by her husband Teddy (55 years of marriage), her daughter Tiffanie, her son Jonathan, her daughter in law Wendy, her grandsons Jackson, Logan, and Grant, and her granddaughter Brooke who affectionately called her "Grandma B."
Barbara was proud of her roots and a proud West Virginian, but in 1984, Barbara and Ted made the difficult choice to leave family and friends in Logan to seek better opportunities for their children in Pensacola, Florida. Barbara faithfully visited the small coal town in West Virginia as often as she could to see her loved ones and in later years to visit their graves.
Barbara instilled the value of hard work in her family. She was a working mom who always wanted her family to have everything they needed. She retired as a billing specialist from Sacred Heart Hospital.
Over the years, Barbara touched many lives and made many friends. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to be blessed to know her beautiful soul.
On Saturday November 1, 2025, at 3:00pm at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, we will honor Barbara with a memorial service. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
