Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the age of 56. Born October 28, 1968 to Robert and Nancy (Cherpes) Wright in Lansing, Michigan. Barbara worked for the Lansing Public Schools for many years as a custodian and later she worked at Dave's Party Store on Lake Thirteen in Farwell, Michigan. Barbara enjoyed crafting and doing her DIY projects. She had an adventurous spirit and was always on the hunt for a four-leaf clover. Most of all she loved every moment she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren; they were her life. Barbara was loved dearly and will be missed by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Mike Wright.
Surviving are her children, Brooklyn Milliken, Desarae Milliken, Robert "Bob" Adams; grandchildren, Cerhenitee Kilgore, Xander Jones, Sophie Jones, Gabrielle Goodwin, Landon Goodwin, Ellie Adams, Kennedy Goodwin; brother, Craig (Kumi) Wright as well as many extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held for Barbara on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing Chapel. To share memories and condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com
