Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Born December 28, 1935 to Gabriel and Chencha (Aguillon) Galvan in Laredo, Texas. Anna worked many years as a housekeeper for a hotel chain in Lansing, Michigan. She was a devout Catholic and member of Cristo Rey Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her flower gardens. She was also very crafty and liked to knit and crochet. Anna was loving and funny, always a joy to be around. She loved listening to music and going out dancing with her girlfriends. She was also a cat lover and held them in special place in her heart. More than anything she loved her family, and she will be missed dearly by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her husband, Carlos Gonzalez; children, Gilbert (Estella) Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez; sons-in-law, Hector Tello and Leroy DeLaPaz as well as her parents.
Surviving are her children, Araceley Tello, Carlos (Yolanda) Gonzalez, Anna DeLaPaz, William "Enrique" Gonzalez; 28 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Elva (Baucilio) Gonzalez, Lupe (Hipolito) Perez, Chela Galvan as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday August 15, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Parish in Lansing with an hour visitation prior starting at 8:00AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family care/of Anna DeLaPaz. To share memories and condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com
