Barry Alley

Barry Lynn Alley, 75, passed away on June 20, 2024. He was born on January 17, 1949, to the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Maine) Alley.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie of 57 years; children, Chad Alley, Lance (Kimberly) Alley, Marney (Joshua) Smith; grandchildren, Sydney (David), Gabriel, Grant, Landon, Kendall, Asher; great-granddaughter, Wren and one great-grandson on the way; one sister, Kenda
Barry was preceded in passing by his parents, Kenneth, and Phyllis Alley; two sisters, Sandra Rogers, and Suzanne Lynch.
Barry was a man of many talents. He was known for his love of flying model airplanes and his skill in building Grand Prix derby cars for the grandsons to race at Awana Grand Prix. His hands were always busy, creating a derby car or fixing something around the house. There was nothing he couldn't mend or improve. In his younger years, Barry spent his time farming with his cousin Larry, spending quality time together. He also enjoyed hunting, mainly deer. Barry and Connie shared a couple of hobbies that included bowling and playing card games. They also loved attending their kids and grandkid's sporting events. Barry enjoyed his years coaching basketball and baseball for North Adams-Jerome. He had a love for John Deere tractors and found satisfaction when it came to mowing the lawn. Barry was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed.

Barry's family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00am until the time of the service at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of North Adams, 141 E.
