Barry Lester Arnold was born February 20, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee, and departed this life for his eternal Heavenly home July 1, 2025, in Beebe, Arkansas, at 79 years of age.
He was the son of T. K. Arnold, Sr. and Lerlene (Osborn) Arnold. He was affectionately known as “Big Daddy” to close friends and family.
Barry served in the military a short time with an honorable discharge to become a skilled cabinet and countertop manufacturer, establishing Arnold Cabinets and Counter Tops in South Carolina, residing on a ranch there where he loved the outdoors, boating and his horses, until he relocated to Arkansas in 2018. Barry was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe.
Barry is survived by his wife, Victoria (Vickie) Markin Arnold; a daughter, Kelly Denise Arnold (Nicholas) Warden; a son, Barry Lester Arnold, Jr.; and eleven grandchildren, Chelsey Shelton (Jay) Smith, Logan Shelton, Lindsey Arnold (Josh) Thomas, Shelby Arnold (Scottie) Millican, Abigail Arnold (Owen) Frazier, Nicholas Owen Arnold, Hunter (Lizzy) Nicholas Warden, Carter (Allison) Allen Warden, Lauren Dobbins, Matt Meek, and Brandon Meek; eleven great grandchildren, and a lot of nieces and nephews.
Barry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Meek Arnold.
Services will be held at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Beebe, Arkansas on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Jason Scheel officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
