Barry F. Baltich, 73, of Ellsworth, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 24, 2023, in his home, following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 10, 1949, in Washington, a son of the late Adam and Ann Cindric Baltich.
Mr. Baltich was a 1968 graduate of Bentworth High School and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps soon after.
Barry was employed at the Washington County Housing Authority until his retirement in 2009.
He won numerous chili competitions, some on the national level. He also enjoyed fishing.
On January 30, 1971, he married Carolyn Ambrose Baltich, who survives. They were married 52 years.
Also surviving are three children, Barry of Ellsworth, David (Melinie) of Eighty Four, and Sarah (Joey) of Scenery Hill; three grandchildren, Jagger, Stalei and Alivia Baltich, all of Eighty Four; a brother, Brian Baltich (Joyce) of Fallowfield Township.
Deceased is a sister, Ilene M. Baltich; and a brother, John M. Baltich.
Funeral services are private and have been entrusted to Greenlee's Bentleyville Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville.

My old best friend is gone. So sad. He and I shared many adventures together from being kids in Ontario to adulthood and becoming parents. He was always a joy to be around.
He will be missed. I wish his family the best that life can offer in his absence
